Flat Farms is located along the Columbia River, part of the Lewis
and Clark trail to the Pacific. The Cascade and Coastal range of
mountains and hills surround the area and since this is Oregon,
EVERYTHING is green! or wet most of the year.

Recently, Shirley and the
farm were featured in the APHA's leading publication, The
Paint Horse Journal.
The complete article can be seen
here. In
addition to profiling the Iversons' farm, this article details
Shirley's lifelong Journey to Recovery after being sexually
assaulted as a young woman. For more information, please
follow the link to the left. |
Our small, family operated farm includes breeding and raising
pleasure horses. The mares we selected are well-bred with show
records. The APHA and AQHA stallions used in our breeding program
are top performers in the show ring and top producers of pleasure
horses. This combination is producing excellent prospects for the
future.
Our foals are handled and socialized as a foundation for their
training.
Stacey
Colgan-Kleikamp is our trainer. Her expertise in handling
and training young horses combined with her ability to train horses
for all types of riders adds to the strength of the program.
Shirley and Kevin Welcome you to explore the site!
